Looking at the pictures at the house in my last post, I am so completely skeeved by the nasty-ass wood paneling in our TV room. It used to be a three-season porch back in the day, and so we aren't really sure what lurks beneath the paneling, as far as the wall materials go, but we don't really want to pull down the paneling because, really, every project we've done at this house has horrible surprises behind every corner.
I've been thinking about painting it for ages, and my girlfriends from town painted the paneling in their basement and it came out really cute. With a little prep work, it'll be cute. And we should be putting in new flooring at some point this summer throughout the kitchen and TV room, so we'll see how it all works out.
